Main drawback : the compressor is vertical . Causes vibrations each time compressor turnson and off .
The Midea compressor rests horizontally , no vibrations when compressor kicks in and out . The Midea has all controls in front , no need for remote or app . Remote easier to use .
I have both.

BTW, they love the units. One of the questions we had was whether they needed to be drained very often. So far, they haven't had to drain them at all. Very quiet and work well.
I got this unit last week after the refurbished Midea Duo (the $199 one) that we got in May had too many issues and I had to return it to Walmart after 2 months.
Up to you if you're willing to take the gamble on a refurb, mine was poorly refurbished and I wasn't willing to gamble again on it and lug an 80lb box back to Walmart, twice.
Just purchased this Hisense from Costco for about a week and it fits better in the small space we have and I really like it. It seems even quieter than the Midea Duo.
Thanks OP for the heads up on the price change. Reps!
EDIT: Also just FYI, Costco's page says the savings on this ends today 7/11, so if you're on the fence, get it now.
The vents are vertical and positioned higher up. So if you use the swing (oscillate) function, it works just like an upright oscillating fan but with much colder air. It might not cool a room as fast, but it can blow the cooled air directly towards/at you, which could have a greater perceived effect.

If it can cool my garage to 78 I'll be happy, I probably only use this 2 - 3 day per week for few hours.
I'll get the version with heat too.
