Costco has it for 469 if you want the return policy as they have a reputation for breaking. That said I've had mine for 2 years and have had no issues. Perfect ice every time!

From what I've seen, it's available in a few stores here and there, same price as online. Was going to buy it there for the return policy, but have a ton of cash back from the Prime Visa so just went with it here for "free"

Costco one is the same except it also comes with 4 filters. The Amazon model does not have any filters included. They are basically the same price except you have the Costco return policy.

Definitely get the protection plan or buy from Costco. I got one 2 years ago, with a 3-year protection plan, as was suggested, and it just crapped out the other week. Asurion gave me back the purchase price almost immediately.

I tore it apart and just need to replace a bearing in the gearbox and disassemble/clean the auger.
