This is a different phone from the April deal. That deal was for the 2025 version. This is the older 2024 version.

Verizon is trying to nuke the 60 day rule right now. Everyone should file an FCC comment reply by July 21 to push back: https://www.reddit.com/r/verizon/...you_to_do/ - This article says the window has expired, but if you post a comment as a "reply to other comments" (it is on the FCC comment form under comment type) they will still field it.

You can use any mobile number to receive the verification code when you place the order. It does not have to be the same number you will actually port-in when you have your new phone.

have up to 12 months to activate or the plan disappears from the phone IMEI when activating then it will make you purchase new plan.
Don't wait too long. Verizon is trying to change its unlock policy from 2 months to 6 months.

https://slickdeals.net/f/18384034-512gb-motorola-edge-2023-smartphone-1-month-service-boost-mobile-l... This is a far superior phone. Has a Snapdragon and 512gb storage. Have been very easy to unlock for $20. They are currently in stock and have been going in and out frequently.

Motorola only gives 3 years of updates.

I had called customer service to activate my phone since Google Voice wasn't option in carrier drop-down list to activate online, and after calling 3 times I was advised another Department would have to complete the activation and it would take ~6 days. My account still shows inactivated on the TW website but my new phone can make and receive calls. Has this happened to anyone else, and would TW not unlock my phone after 2nd pre-paid month ends if they don't get around to activating my phone in their website.
I followed this instruction. https://www.reddit.com/r/TotalWir..._wireless/

my pixel 6a is essentially in a slow death after the battery nerfing update so for the $100 they gave me it basically pays for this. I am curious enough for this price to see how I feel about it
You could have asked for a free battery change. Or change the battery yourself.

I have to have a number to port in to get this deal? Is there a way around it if I don't have a number to port in?

Do these plans somehow keep charging you? I did a similar deal a while back, and the phone works beyond the pre-pay card. And I don't see any charges on my credit card.

6a is underwhelming aside from camera. Reception sucks too. That $100 is a blessing.

The phone will always work. Service is what you have to pay for to maintain the line...

Are you really gonna keep this phone after 3 years? I agree with gm12. I have both, edge+2023 unlocked from boost and a razr 2024 unlocked from Straight Talk (same company as Total wireless). it's super easy to flash Android 15/16 to the edge if you know where to look and speed/performance wise, the Edge smokes it, the camera is better with 8k video recording and horizon lock (built in gimbal) support, apps loads faster and games can run alot smoother. Only thing the razr has it that it's a foldable phone so its pocketable.

ID verification is mandatory?
Because wiki says ID verif gives discount - so w/o ID verification pay a bit more?

Total Wireless has required ID verification for quite a while now - otherwise phone is full price. Read other Total Wireless deals, it's mentioned in every one.

"Allow listed" is the preferred terminology anymore. It's 2025, time to ditch these antiquated, technically inaccurate terms that date back to racism and slavery. Allow/block list is replacing white/black list. The lists aren't actually white or black, so this new terminology is not only inoffensive....it's technically more accurate.Master/slave in electrical and signal connectivity is being replaced with many alternatives, including manager/worker, manager/node, controller/node, leader/follower, local/remote, primary/secondary, upstream/downstream, server/client, producer/consumer, transmitter/receiver, etc. Master/slave wasn't always technically accurate anyways given how complex modern systems are. It's OK if you've used the older versions of these in the past, no one is faulting you. You probably didn't mean to be offensive...you probably didn't even realize they were hurtful or had racist roots. But they do, and it's time to change. Change can be hard for many.
Good times. I used to have a guy for that.

Odd. No idea why that was considered a good deal when the 2025 version was $165.
Please send the link for the active deal for that price
