This is a different phone from the April deal. That deal was for the 2025 version. This is the older 2024 version.

Verizon is trying to nuke the 60 day rule right now. Everyone should file an FCC comment reply by July 21 to push back: https://www.reddit.com/r/verizon/...you_to_do/ - This article says the window has expired, but if you post a comment as a "reply to other comments" (it is on the FCC comment form under comment type) they will still field it.

You can use any mobile number to receive the verification code when you place the order. It does not have to be the same number you will actually port-in when you have your new phone.

I have used Dr Unlock. Was recommended in old deals on SD. They used to be on eBay and got kicked off. Information is on the linked deal. Others used a website that is referenced and not directly linked.

I know you need 60 days of paid service before unlock, but does it have to be on the Moto for it to be unlocked? Or can i just pop the TW sim in another phone , keep the moto in a drawer and it will be unlocked after 60 days?

Visible (also owned bu verizon) has already pulled S**t like this where they wouldnt unlock a device because the sim wasnt in that device for 60 days.

Sure you can get a new GV number for that account. Google requires you link the new number to a real mobile number. It won't allow you to use the same number you linked to the last time, but you can use the one you just ported out, presumably active on TW.

Just received my Razr 2024 and finished with initial setup. I uninstalled/disabled Mobile Services but have not inserted the sim/activated the phone yet.
From time to time a notification comes up saying this needs to be activated so I feel like I still need to disable some apps.
The build quality, for me, is a huge improvement compared to the more "premuim" Moto Razr 2023+ (I sold the Razr 2023+ after 2 months because it wasn't solid, like I'd break it if I drop it once). I dont feel the same way with this model so that's a good sign.

This is really a solid deal combined with my chase CB. Netting me $95.00.
I have the Flip 7 on order, and this might make me sell that. But that's still 50-50.

I feel like this list (and other carriers lists, if they have it) should be posted in the details every cell phone deal, along with the exact model # in the deal.

I know there are differences between carrier models of the same phone. What I don't know is if it's a physical hardware difference or a software difference that limits hardware, but cellular bands are what are typically missing. When you are missing a major band, you do tend to notice though it might not be obvious to some. Like if you get an influx of messages all at once, after sending a text message or making a call. Or you have "Missed calls" pop up and your phone never rang.
