I think they switched to 2880 x 1800 for this latest generation ( 2nd gen Intel CPU ), guessing they realized that no one's eyes can tell the difference between the two at laptop distances and wanted the improved performance and battery life

That said the older version you're referencing is available for even cheaper on that same site, if anyone is interested, I think. I personally wasn't a fan of these first gen CPUs, but the 2nd gen ones have blown my mind

Staples has both versions, the 285H one is the one I posted, and then there is the other version available for slightly less I think

I got one. It's the 285H. Crazy fast
16 GB is enough if you have this ultra processor. And the price is pretty good too. Good deal.
