Ah weird, it's showing it as a graphic on the site but when you put it in it's saying the coupon is expired, bummer. Hope this deal didn't kill the entire coupon Big Grin

16G RAM killed this, that's why this is on sale.
The people who understand and appreciate the specs of this laptop will NOT buy it with 16G soldered RAM ungradable...

Now in 2025, you open 5 Google Chrome tabs to watch Youtube or browse Zillow or explore Google Earth / Google Street 3D and RAM is 100% now it become slow as heck because the intergraded card is weak.

3-5 years from now this POS is useless because of the RAM.

Should be minimum 32G or 48G/64G RAM

Disagree, I work as a software engineer all day and 16gb is more than fine for most people as long as there is a high speed SSD in the system

Yeah I'm not talking about your Dell Latitude with 16G RAM, 1080p Full HD 200 NIT screen that you guys have at work

This is a 3K OLED display laptop, who buying this laptop and is ok with 16G RAM?

Not sure what you're smoking but it sounds good 🤣

99.5% of people in the market for a laptop with this screen at this price will be fine with 16GB

I love that you just keep making up numbers and expressing your "strong" opinion Big Grin

Half of people who commented on this thread was complaining about the 16GB of RAM

The people who understand about "3K OLED 600NIT" screen and all other features and specs of this laptop obviously will be let off by the soldered 16G of RAM and probably pass on buying. They would be happy to pay $100 - $150 more for 32G RAM. This laptop is $1200 + tax at Costco for the 32G RAM version (which is already a good wholesale price)

The people who are happy with 16GB RAM and don't care for screen is at $200 - under $500 range laptop.

All joking aside, that's a really bad take. 16GB is fine for pretty much everyone not doing specific professional workloads that require specific RAM minimums. If you disagree, do some research. This isn't controversial/up for debate. You may think you want 32GB, but if you don't know exactly why you need it, it's a bit like someone without kids wanting a 3rd row of seats in their SUV

Buddy it's 2025 not 2015. 16G RAM is ok if the laptop is $500 or less, or if the laptop is from 2010s era. Turn on your laptop and doing nothing with Window 11, your RAM is already at 50%+.

Do me a quick favor, on your Dell Latitude or equivalent that you are using at work, once freshly booted up, open 5 tabs of Google Chrome, with one of the them is Youtube and watch a fullHD or 4K video. I don't want nothing else open on the laptop, no visual studio, or Word or Excel or Adobe PDF etc.

See how much RAM right now, more than 70%, right, probably 85%.

Now, imagine doing anything else on top of that, most people having 10 - 20 tabs open, and also doing Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe PDF etc. 16G RAM will be at 80%+ all the time, that's not good, that stressing out your RAM. Your intergraded Intel graphics GPU card is also sharing your RAM too, so if you playing any light games or doing any 3-D tasks such as viewing a 3D tour of a home in Zillow, your GPU wants some of the RAM, your RAM will be 100%.

On top of all of that, we're talking about this particular laptop, a ASUS Vivobook S 16 2.8K OLED, Ultra 9 285H, Thunderbolt, Backlit, 1TB, 16 hr battery ... All amazing specs with... 16G of un-upgradable RAM - I'd pass.
