Pros:
- small footprint doesn't block adjacent ports
- good power distribution when using all ports (40W + 12W + 12W)

Cons:
- compact footprint means it has little surface area to lean on, so it relies heavily on tension from the plug pins
- public plugs tend to be worn, and worse yet, often angled downwards (planes), which results in the plug falling out

YMMV, but I've found that the 67W Apple adapter at 270g does a better job at staying plugged in on loose, angled airline plugs vs the 110g Anker.

Other than that, for half the weight and plug footprint, you get the versatility of 1~3 ports, which is awesome. While I lament about the reliance on the plug pins, I've only carried the Apple adapter once, and I always bring the Anker.

I bought this on Prime day for my drone battery charging hub. It works very well and feels like a high build quality.

Why not get this one from Costco instead: https://www.costco.com/.product.4000257231.html

It is. Here's what's listed in the description, "Utilizing GaN technology, these chargers provide a safer and more efficient charging experience."

I have a version of this and can envision what you typed. I personally like a flat plug more than one such as this for what you typed. Lemme KNOW that I'm secured in there vs one that is elongated and easy to topple.

NOW, for a hotel this is perfect as it's not really going anywhere.

Thanks for asking. I was wondering what the difference between this one and the Costco one was (minus the extra charger obviously.
