After getting the run around for several weeks from official Samsung and T-Mobile CS I did some research. It turns out that individuals with similar problems unlocking problems were able to get their phone's finally unlocked by requesting help from T-Force (which is a T-mobile help group on X/Twitter). Their X address is @TMobileHelp. The person there that helped me was "DanielaDixonWilson."
