I've had the 85" version of this TV for over a month and a half now and haven't had any issues with fast drain on the remote. Used the batteries that came with the remote and everything.

Fire Tv remote is garbage! Draining out batteries way too fast! Only last less than a week 1/2 per change (2-AAA) even when I use expensive batteries like duracell or energizer!

I have this TV in 65" from Costco for $499. Great TV. Definitely considering returning and upsizing.

I had a fire tv replacement remote that did the same thing. To be clear it was for a fire stick.

Weirdly it does not pass through any DTS sound formats through optical or ARC/eARC [rtings.com]. The sound bar supports DTS though. So you won't get any DTS sound tracks with the soundbar connected to this TV.

It's more expensive and they're probably near the same in specs etc with differences in small areas

Bought this at Amazon when it was $798 which is sold by Beach Camera. I remembered I saw something like 30 days price guaranteed. But now I am trying to to find it and don't see it any more.

Edit:
i stand corrected. read Rtings review with pinch of salt as this applies to the 55, 65 and 85. the 75" U7N has a different panel that fares a little worse. no review of 75" U7N is given BUT you can read Rtings reviews of the U8N for 75" (has the same panel type) and other sizes to see how much the score is impacted by the 75" panel.
Because of that, the hisense U7N may be comparable with the Panasonic, or the Panasonic may have the edge
:End edit

From Rtings:

The Hisense U7N is better than the Panasonic W95A overall. The Hisense has better contrast and HDR brightness, displaying deeper blacks in a dark room and brighter highlights. The Hisense also overcomes more glare in a bright room due to its superior reflection handling, is the more accurate TV in both SDR and HDR, and displays clearer motion due to its faster response time. However, the Panasonic displays slightly more vibrant colors and does a better job of upscaling low-resolution content. Sadly, you can't use VRR and local dimming on the Panasonic simultaneously.

Go with Panasonic if you want the TV last longer. As a senior Chinese appliance user, I will tell you their product won't last long

Yeah casuals are definitely going to look at rtings. Hisense's software when it comes to upscaling is bad. I have it
