Doesn't list the country it's made in. :/ That should be illegal, imho.

Should be illegal, LMAO.
Hope they can afford Tri-ply US Union made, you know jobs with good retirement and vacation perks, good health care. Put their paycheck where their mouth is.
That said....
We have this, about 10 years old, good stuff.
They used to make it, I think it was Brazil and China, but with the Brazil, the stainless wasn't magnetic and couldn't be used on induction stoves, the problem with very high-grade stainless is that you need impurities in it to be magnetic. If a magnetic sticks a current can be set up in stainless, the pan to produce hest.

The Chinese-made will work on an induction stoves.

Stick a magnetic to it, about 10 years ago the Brazil stuff wouldn't work on induction stoves. Just curious if the Brazil made pans have changed.

We purchased this about 10 years ago. They have been made in Brazil and China for a long time.
Ours in China.
The Brazil stuff was made out of more pure stainless, would not work on an inductive stove, Chinese-made would.
It was well debated Then, on line.
We didn't want non inductive if we had to switch off from a gas stove.

These are the clad bases, so the cheaper stuff if that matters to you.

I got their Ceramic set that was made in China and needed to replace it within 18 months. If you're not getting the brazil made cookware, I'd hold off.

FYI this is triply only for the base and does not extend up to the sides. Costco has a better one that we're looking to get if the price comes down

From what I understand, their Tempo line is the cheaper set, as compared to the Clad set. These are made in Brazil >>>

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank p9985

this is tri-play base, means only base has 3 layers, not tri ply cad, which is all along the walls too. This not a deal at al, for the same price if you get at least 12 piece with tri ply clad then it will be a deal.
