This is not a good scooter. A ninebot max can be had used on instaface for 350-400 and that 6 year old scooter will blow this piece of sh"t away in terms of range and speed
I dont normally post but I've been trying to research scooters and it's a dark rabbit hole. You can buy the $200 no name scooters at your own risk or get the 5 or 600 ones with brand names that seem to have the same bad reviews and horrible customer service. This design is interesting because you use the same batteries as the worx tools. I already have a lot of the tools so 400(and I used a 10% code) was a fair deal. I don't think that this is a Slickdeal for everyone but it's definitely a decent deal. This site cracks me up because the moment someone posts something that someone doesn't want they go straight to the comments to express their disapproval.
I do secretly enjoy reading the comments though. Anyways I hope this deal finds it way to someone that appreciates it.

Yeah until it breaks within year and then good luck with the customer service. The ninebot was initially my first choice until I read so many negative reviews about customer service and making a warranty claimIf you haven't read anything about their customer service you are in for a treat. I didn't buy this scooter for speed but more for a quality build and 'scooterin' around town with my daughter
An interesting option, with the backup/range extender of WORX extra batteries. Aventon is also a major player in ebikes, so you're getting two reputable companies combining for the product. Personally, I'd choose a cheap but reputable ebikes, like a Lectric xp lite for $800, with 45 miles range, foldable, easier to lock, easier to ride on streets and trails. I also have an REI ebike that was on sale for $800 a few years ago, with cargo rack, disc brakes, and REI service.

I didn't post because it because it's a little complicated....you have to sign up for emails to get the code. Then the code won't work for the scooter so you have to call and ask them to apply the code. You might even be able to convince them to take 20% off

Got it, thanks, might give it a shot, got like 20 batteries.
I've had a Aventon e-bike (Pace 500.2) for going on 3 years and it's been great. Their bikes have a 2yr warranty, and they took good care of me when I had a battery/controller issue about 1.5 years in. Dropped the bike at a local shop, picked it up with my new battery that weekend.
In my experience, Aventon e-bike's have been better quality and offer better support than random chinese ones.
Seems like a very niche product though, I just recently got my GF a HiBoy S2Pro and it's been a good little machine. Not sure about their service/warranty, but it's a solid scooter.
