Been $20 for last few years, per CCC. I'm still in for one, tho 😅

I picked up the similar notebook/foldable grill from Wise Owl a few months ago on a slickdeal ($11ish). That one has been good. It's 2-3 inches smaller both directions than this Firesense, but weighs a lot less (2.5lbs vs 8lbs), so I've actually brought it on short hikes.

It'll be good to have something a little bigger and sturdier (it seems, based on weight, specs and reviews) at $15, so I'm in for one.

agree, if you think about it its not really a "space" saving option becacuse even if you fold it flat you still need to find places to put your BBQ tools like toung, spatular, fire starter wood etc..
with a smaller grill . ex the weber go anywhere or the little round one (that goes on sale from $15 to $20) you can store the tools/items inside the grill covered.

from looking at a youtube review this seems to have thin sheet metal that may warp.

and worst this don't have a cover so you can't cover and heat the food. nor does it have adjustable vent.

I was going to buy out of the SD effect but decided not to. (I have weber go anwhere also)

If you are EXTREMELY pressed for room, this thing is ok, otherwise there are far better options.

Interesting, thought about it because I buy too much stuff, but my Pop Up Fire Pit has been great when I use it, it's light, and it fits in a bag about the size of a cheap, small folding camping chair.

charcoal grilling takes up so much room. utensils, chimney, firestarter, even a bag of coal. Either get a small kettle like smokey joe, or just get a gas grill or dont get anything

This would be great for fire searing a sous vide(ed?) steak, for those with limited space in their backyard or that do not have a proper coal grill

it does, but charcoal takes a lot of equipment and is not something you buy whatever this foldable thing is. I have a weber kettle and the food it makes is great. (It's a lot of work though)

Weber Smokey Joe or Go Anywhere charcoal grill are my personal faves, but honestly almost any other grill is better than this thing.
