It does depend on one's needs, but given all things being equal -- I'd almost always say it's better buying two smaller units.

You can split the load, taking the units to where your devices are located. But more so, you have an entire "spare"/second unit in case one of them bites the dust. If you have devices that simply MUST have available power, I'd rather gracefully swap units than realize "oh no, I'm stuck" if something goes wrong by putting all your eggs in one basket. Eggs are expensive, yo.

Not this one. No enough wattage output. The start up wattage on most sumps (and running wattage on some) will trip this. Look a delta 2 refurb or something of that size or larger. Or a lifepo 12v battery, inverter and a charger would really be a better option since you don't need the other stuff.

I would find out the running wattage of the pump.
Multiply that X4 for the start up wattage.
I tried starting up a 65 watt DC pump and it blew out a 200 watt fuse.
Start up wattage is a bitch.
