I run in hoka, brooks, nb and ascis but brooks are my favorite.
P.S i have extra wide feet and its extremely hard to find good running shoes, brooks ghost series i have been using for years ( usually put 500 miles on them ).

My dad just got these for prime day but only needs them for walking, as he's too old to run. Would you say these are still suitable?

I'm not a runner, I'm a weightlifter. Makes sense then. But mostly I see people wearing these to go get groceries.
If it's ever possible, if you are lucky enough to live in a city with a real running shoe store, it's great to try on a few and see what he likes. That's kind of another downside of Amazon swallowing so many businesses up.
Yes definitely they're very comfortable.
After putting 500 miles on my shoes i throw away most of then but sometimes i keep brooks just for walking and they're still good after that many miles.
