Good deal price wise, but I would pay the extra $12 to buy from Dell to ensure the warranty is honored, and hopefully get some cashback while at it. Alas, I don't trust Amazon for electronics like I used to. They are selling way too many knockoffs.

As long as it ships and sold by Amazon, should be good.

Some Amex accounts may have 100 off of 500 from Dell as well.

Sold and shipped by Amazon doesn't solve the issue of their stock being stored with the stock from third parties being sent in.

Got this from Dell yesterday for $539 after tax. Amex had a $50 rebate promo plus Dell had offered me 10% off Alienware. Be sure to check your account pages at Dell for any such discounts before buying elsewhere. There was no indication of a discount for me otherwise until I found it myself.

Tempted, but prefer the deeper blacks with WOLED.

I've never heard of 3rd parties selling knockoff monitors. Is this really a thing? I think I would have heard of it.

It's a valid concern for smaller items like memory cards, but I've never heard of a knockoff monitor. I think it's excessive to be concerned about something like that

I have this monitor, not the best for console players as it only has 1 HDMI out and no AUX out. I make it work with an HDMI Matrix with aux out

That's my biggest frustration on my 32" Alienware OLED - that it doesn't have aux out.
