Based on the .91 pricing, my best guess is that it is a clearanced priced item, so maybe it won't go back up in price, but may sell out first. Hard to know for sure.

Been using intex pumps and filters for over a decade. They do just fine for their purpose when you maintain chemical balance and hose off filter every week or two.
