Just a note to be careful with B12 supplementation as increased B12 increases needs for folate and iron, possibly lowering them and leading to increased chance of anemia (Low B12, folate and/or iron). If you eat red meat, you are most likely fine in the B12 department. I personally try to eat a serving of beef liver 1-2 times a week.

If you are concerned about B12, consider getting tested for B12, folate and ferritin (iron storage). In most states, requestatest is a good option as you can do your own testing for cheap.

One additional note that anemia usually affects women through low iron levels, not B12, so would recommend getting tested even more so as a woman. My wife ran into this. Worst case, you've covered your bases.

This is a great deal even compared to Costco. For some reason the 1000mg version always cost more.

It's cheap because it's Cyanocobalamin B12 which is toxic, and not Methylcobalamin B12 which is what the body needs.

Note that if you want to detect a vitamin B12 deficiency you should test homocysteine or methylmalonic.

Unfortunately the direct B12 test often misses B12 deficiency because certain plants compounds mimic B12 in the blood

I'd steer clear of this one. This is cyanocobalim. Look for Methylcobalim. Do a quick google search for Gary Brecka b12 for more info.
As someone else also mentioned, get tested to ensure you actually need it before supplementing it.
