I've purchased 3 of the refurbished river 2s. 2 Max and 1 "regular". The regular river 2 is unreliable with its USBC power output, one of the Maxs works perfectly, and the other one will stop charging via solar randomly and won't work again unless unplugged and plugged back in.
Firmware up to date on all of them.
Make sure you test and use your devices while in the return window.
I am very pleased with the 1 that hasn't had any issues

now recently just found out that the DC 12v outlet doesn't work. never needed to use this port til now, and it doesn't work
going to RMA this crap
I guess it comes down to if you need this now, or if you think we won't see those $229 Pro refurb deals again.

I even tried purchasing the OEM Ecoflow solar cable and aftermarket ones. Same thing.
DC 12v outlet also doesn't work on mine. Firmware is up to date.
in other words i think this will come quicker but not because of 3000 cycles: "it is rated for 3000 cycles to 80%+ capacity"
I would buy it again. But new. Refurbished for $179? Have to be about a lot less.
