Walmart must have an insane amount of inventory of this TV, or maybe Sony just keeps making it because this particular model keeps going on sale and other retailers have been out of stock for over a year. I got this TV for my parents last year it's good, I recommend it. No wifi issues good picture, fast OS.

We got a cracked one from a previous sale, so can confirm. And Walmart was terrible to deal with on the return. Had no record of it coming back so it took weeks before we got a refund and it was hours on the phone spread across multiple days before it got solved. Absolute nightmare to the point where I haven't purchased another thing from Walmart since.

RTINGS.com https://share.google/j4mfUB5PuHUoIosWfOur Verdict 7.7Mixed UsageThe Sony X85K is good overall. It's a good choice for watching movies in dark rooms as it displays deep blacks and has impressive black uniformity, but it doesn't have a local dimming feature to further improve the contrast. HDR looks good thanks to its decent peak brightness in HDR and wide color gamut. It gets bright enough to fight glare from a few lights around and has good reflection handling, so it's a good choice for watching shows or sports in a bright room. Lastly, it's good for gaming as it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and variable refresh rate (VRR) support for console gamers.

good display... the storage is so low and might run out of space. Sony doesn't doesn't update Google/Android TV often. Still an old version on mine.

Might bite. Getting it wall mounted with the mount plus the 5 year warranty all for under 1k seems like a no brainer for a bedroom tv that won't used much. Was thinking something tcl but for a decent one they are over 1.2k for the tv alone

It doesn't. Your 13 year old TV is an airplane to apples comparison. The only similarity is the Sony logo.

The X85K is a pretty low tier 120hz TV. Not having local dimming is a deal breaker for a TV at this price and the peak brightness is awul. If you want a good TV I recommend the TCL QM7 for $50 more. It comes with MiniLED which is newer technology and blows QLED out of the water in terms of brightness and contrast and also fixes the blooming issue that plagues QLED TVs. The Sony X90L is a great TV as well if you want to stick with a bigger name brand
Where is the qm7 for $50 more?

Anyone know how big the storage is for this TV? I install some apps from third party and storage is kind of important for me. Specifications didn't list any info

Don't do that, get a cheap Chromecast or Firestick instead.

Great deal. I'd be down if my Samsung completely gave up the ghost but it's still limping along and usable with a Roku and a bunch of burn in.

Ah ok, I was looking for the 75 which this TV post is. If you said that in your comment, I must've missed it. Thanks.

It seems pretty cheap for a decent sony, but gonna try Costco's tcl q7 and see how it goes. The 5 yr warranty seems good.
