Walmart must have an insane amount of inventory of this TV, or maybe Sony just keeps making it because this particular model keeps going on sale and other retailers have been out of stock for over a year. I got this TV for my parents last year it's good, I recommend it. No wifi issues good picture, fast OS.

We got a cracked one from a previous sale, so can confirm. And Walmart was terrible to deal with on the return. Had no record of it coming back so it took weeks before we got a refund and it was hours on the phone spread across multiple days before it got solved. Absolute nightmare to the point where I haven't purchased another thing from Walmart since.

RTINGS.com https://share.google/j4mfUB5PuHUoIosWfOur Verdict 7.7Mixed UsageThe Sony X85K is good overall. It's a good choice for watching movies in dark rooms as it displays deep blacks and has impressive black uniformity, but it doesn't have a local dimming feature to further improve the contrast. HDR looks good thanks to its decent peak brightness in HDR and wide color gamut. It gets bright enough to fight glare from a few lights around and has good reflection handling, so it's a good choice for watching shows or sports in a bright room. Lastly, it's good for gaming as it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and variable refresh rate (VRR) support for console gamers.

Ah ok, I was looking for the 75 which this TV post is. If you said that in your comment, I must've missed it. Thanks.
Sorry I didn't even realize this was 75". I guess it makes the price a little better but i'd still take a TCL Q7 over it for $600

I'm thinking maybe he was looking at the 55 inch which is more around the price he said or was thinking of deals that have expired.

Don't do that, get a cheap Chromecast or Firestick instead.
I have them both. The Firestick 4K Max kept telling me in the middle of a video to uninstall my 3rd party apps, saying I never use them(untrue), and saying internal storage is low, forbid me to uninstall any of Firetv apps which I never use..

Google TV on the other hand, too much stuff showing on homepage, does not display 3rd party apps, sometimes even hides them. Installing launcher is a must, which is annoying too even with a button mapper app configured.

When you are home what times what dates. When the TV is on what apps you are using when and for how long any credit data or password data.

It seems pretty cheap for a decent sony, but gonna try Costco's tcl q7 and see how it goes. The 5 yr warranty seems good.
The TCL is actually rated higher on Rtings, so not a bad choice. I'm personally holding out for one of TCL's models with local dimming for around $800 for a 75", though. I currently have a 55" QM7, and don't think I can go back to a TV without local dimming.

Connected to your local network, in theory it can inspect your local traffic, such as ip addresses of services/websites you access not necessary from tv itself

At this point you're paying for the name. It's outdated, I'll take Hisense over this.
