Perhaps someone who bought this previously might want to provide a review?

The key for me is whether the gauge is accurate- anyone have any experience with that aspect?

From the AI summary for the comments about this tool posted on Lowe's website:

Some customers found it to be a good tool that works well, with a useful built-in gauge. However, many others reported issues with the gauge providing inaccurate readings, the inflator not sealing properly, or the product not working at all. There were also complaints about the quality and durability. Overall, the consensus seems to be that the product is hit or miss, with a significant number of customers reporting problems and dissatisfaction.

While a lot of people now carry a battery powered tire inflator in their car, it still might be worth carrying a manual inflator as a backup. But based on some of the reviews I'm not persuaded that this one would be a good choice.

Manual inflator makes sense, never thought of it, and will set up an alert. But, this isn't a manual pump/inflator, unless I'm missing something?

I read it as a foot pump which does not seem to be the case.
