You could but if you already have an existing Asus router with AiMesh you can get their RP-AX58. The RP-AX58 also has an ethernet port so you can add devices without WIFI at the end of your network chain.

Great router. Lots of features that your average home user would never use. Fast cpu, good amount of ram and a large nvram. No wifi 7 - which for some users outdates it usefulness. This is my main router with two asus ax68 in mesh mode. Over 80 clients with no issues. Handles wire guard vpn protocols with good speed.

Like the other member said about using a less expensive asus router but make sure you stay in the asus mesh mode family.
