anyone know if you can put a regular straw in this? Might be worth it if its possible to use without the flavoring. Looks like you should be able to use a different lid.

Doesn't look that way with this lid. Maybe other lids that are twist on would be compatible, like how Yeti, Hydro Flask, Ozark Trail, and various other brands all have compatible lids with each other (theirs are not twist on.)

Just did some in-store reconnaissance on this. In store price here was $20. Ordered online for sale price and some cartridges too. Tried a lot of the shelf lids and found the 40oz Mainstay lids do fit and are quite snug. However, I was only able to find black lids which clash with the color a bit. Maybe there is a Mainstays lid in a different color. The Mainstays straw hole can flip to a spout if desired. I bought a clearance one off the shelf to use as a sipper when it shows up.
