Not worth it. Total sucks. Customer service hell if something goes wrong with the deal.

If interested in this then do similiar deal at Verizon Prepaid for 256gb iPhone 14 Plus for $50 more. With Verizon Prepaid no ID verification(I think) and second month can downgrade to $35 plan and no porting requirement.

Verizon prepaid iPhone 14 Plus 256gb @ $250 + 95(two month service - first month 60, second month 35). Then also have 512gb variants for 300+95

12 months to unlock on Boost. 60 days on Total. That's why.

Ai is a bubble, ai on iPhone is a joke. This phone is not much different than the latest model. Maybe a little slower, but it's not a big deal for most people.

Sign up for a Gmail account then request a Google voice number using that Gmail account. Google charges $3 to allow a number to be ported out.
I don't think new accounts can successfully claim Google Voice numbers anymore. Google has clamped down a lot in the past year and now has very stringent criteria to claim a Voice number. If you're able to somehow successfully claim a Voice number it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to get another Voice number again for future deals.

Sounds like learned helplessness on your part. No information you provided answered the original question, claiming 'but it can be challenging' without offering any solution doesn't help anyone.

What is your source for this claim or is it just your opinion?

I mean... Is it worth the hassle? Three generations behind, no USB-C, no RCS, probably not overly snappy given modern AI cra... bloat. Plus all the hoops to jump through with TW...
As most iPhones within a couple generations (or more), they're still very snappy handling it's own OS. The only time I've noticed that old iPhones lag is during boot. My father's iPhone XR (six generations old) takes it's time to boot, but is still a very serviceable phone for his light use. Personally, I used the Total Wireless deals to buy him an iPhone 14 (non-plus) to allow him to use our many MagSafe accessories and batteries, plus the accident/crash protection. It'll effectively be future proof to him for quite some time.

I would've rather preferred USB-C, but since cords are only (sometimes) used for charging, that's not a huge deal breaker. We've got quite a collection of nice MagSafe chargers that use USB-C, so in a way it's chargeable via USB-C. RCS messaging has been available on iPhones since the iPhone XR. As for Apple AI, I own an iPhone 15 Pro and Apple AI has barely changed my mobile experience at all. Maybe Siri can do more advanced tasks, but I only ever use her to set alarms & reminders, or ask Google Search queries. At most, Apple AI has provided me some laughs in the failed message summaries it interpreted from the notifications on my phone.

I personally signed up for two of the iPhone 14 deals that were $100 for the phone and 3x$55=$165 for the service. They've been decent hotspots while I'm waiting for the service to unlock the phones. My only complaint is that Total Wireless only offered the phone in the single black color. Still, it's nothing a case+protector for $10 won't mostly fix though.

I don't see the 2 months plan required while purchasing. I think we can downgrade to cheaper plan second month. 199+65+30(with autopay second month)=294+taxes.
Is this correct calculation?

Decent deal.
p.s. in before people crying about ID verification.
Have you ever thought that there might be a very good reason for people not to want to provide identification...

All about control and pain tolerance. UK recently passed a law that requires many sites and apps to age verify using id's, turned out to be a trojan horse and it all started with "we must protect our child's innocence"

Anyone know if the boost mobile 16e deal requires continuous service beyond one month to be eligible for unlock after 12 months or just 1 month service is enough ?

Idk, my 16 pro max lag once in a while when I typed. It's frustrating! What do u think is the problem? My iPad 10th gen does the same thing. I thought it was because of the older cpu. Lol

Where did you get the google voice number?Any tricks to get it to work? Thanks
You can get the a Google voice number and unlock it for $3. Then you can port it to TW. The only thing is there is a specific instruction on activating the Google voice number on TW when you get your phone. There is a reditt post on how to do this.

I was just able to do this past month. No problems at all. I was able to port it to the razr 2024 deal
