Sofrin outdoor store is the seller. I bought the same flashlight from them a month or so ago using a coupon. Within a few days they said the item is shipped. Two weeks later usps still did not have the item. I texted them several times asking them to re-send. They said wait until 2 weeks after the promised date and then contact them. Eventually without asking me they cancelled my order. I texted the seller asking them to re-send the item. They said they cannot because I have gotten a refund (that I did not ask). I agreed to buy it again for the same price. The agent said the coupon has expired and if I had not cancelled my order they would have send it again. In fact I never asked for a refund. As far as I am concerned this seller is a liar and Ali express terms are lies too. Item has been shipped must have a clear meaning. A label has been generated is not the same as item has been shipped. IMO this outfit and Ali express are border line scams and unethical.

Strange. I've made 18 orders since May 25 and haven't had a single issue.

I'm a flashlight nerd. I own this light, and I like it. Today I found out that it's on sale for an obscene price -- the lowest ever on SD (by $10). I wanted to share that with the SD community so that people who need something like this have an opportunity to get it at a great price, which will likely only last a few days.
Isn't that what this site is for? Am I misunderstanding how this works? Like, what is your actual beef with this? Did Sofirn do something to you? Or do you just have general contempt for anything not made in the U.S.?

No, just a guy who buys a lot of flashlights.

I think there are 5 Sofirn sellers on AI. I've purchased from 3 of them, and have not had any problems. Same with the Acebeam, Convoy, and Wurkkos sellers.
IMO, a store's user ratings are pretty accurate. The only issue I've had on AI so far was for cheap dollar store stuff, and had I paid attention to the ratings back then, I would have shopped elsewhere.

same thing happened to me , they said it's held up in customs even though it was allegedly shipped from new Jersey. I ended up getting a refund and i never received it which means it was never shipped or got lost
