Participating restaurants have a compatible POS register system. Your receipt has a receipt number on the top which you enter into the app and it looks up your bill. You then pay via the app (gratuity can't be paid via gift card or promo). I usually let the staff know so they don't think I am dining and dashing.
An extra nice thing about this program is that it completely stacks with the restaurants internal promos/rewards. I've never had an issue with redeeming a club/rewards offer during the meal and then paying with inKind offers as they are separate processes

It should appear in your "Rewards" tab of the app.
If it doesn't, I'd repeat the promotional page by entering your phone number now that you have an active account.
It's possible it doesn't work on new accounts since it's a "miss you" offer but no one else has mentioned this yet

Yes, pay in store. Then, in store, tell them you want to pay with inkind and they'll tell you the check number.

Man, CPK is turning into my personal cafeteria.😂 At this rate, I'm tempted to have 1 account per phone with all the cheap phones we got recently we can spread out and never cook again.

Works well, I got this app and used it for 2-3 restaurants. Once check has been used, it has that "code" for inKind app, used that to pay from app. Enabled the discount, it was showing that it considered that. As of now it looks good.

They need more mid-range restaurants in NY but there are plenty of quick serve and coffee shop-type places, and a handful of mid-range restaurants.

I wish there were more restaurants on the InKind app, but one benefit of the thin selection is that I keep qualifying for these "I miss you" offers.

I used this a couple of times with AMEX offer while back. Am I still eligible? Can I walk in and do a take out for $25 order and pay only the residual over $25 and tax and leave?
