This seem like a deal to me even though I don't have an immediate need for either tool. I need an SD tool expert to chime in and reassure me or tell me to run away - before they sell out.

As long as you have batteries this looks like a solid deal. You'll eventually need both of these tools, grab some sand paper also.

I use that multitool WAY more than I thought I would. It cuts through anything- found myself using it to make notches in wood, trimming off nail heads, making holes to install electrical outlets, trimming heating ducts...all sorts of things. The sander isn't bad either.

If you are going to use the ___ out of your multi tool I'd get a better quality one than this fyi. But for minor stuff this will be fine.

Do buy a better quality one and then buy this one? What is the point?

I thought about these but I have the dremel, but at anything above 7 it vibrates WAY TOO MUCH and shakes my hole body and extremely loud. I need to trim wood under cabinet that's 2" and dremel cutter doesn't go in that deep, any suggestions?
They don't make plunge cut blades that are 2 1/2" deep, right?

I think i need sawzall?

What? I never said get two. I said if you are going to be using it a lot then get a better quality one. If you are going to be using it once in a while then this one is fine.
