I have the larger milwaukee impact sets and the quality is very good. This smaller set is nice and portable compared to the larger sets. AKA when you need just a few sizes and don't want to lug around a large bulky set.

Thanks OP! Perfect timing! I am about to change the shocks on my Tacoma and needed these for my impact wrench.

I bought the sae set a few years ago and it's been nice. I've been waiting on the metric set to go on sale for quite awhile.

You bought SAE before Metric? Are you a time traveler from the pre 1990s where everything was SAE?
Edit: J/K! Just meant to point out that buying SAE before metric seems unconventional. My bad.

There's still tons of industry using SAE. Just because automotive moved away from it doesn't mean every industry did. Still plenty of brand new equipment with SAE hardware in farming, industrial, electrical.

The Milwaukee's selling point is the huge markings; easy to read and won't scratch off easily. I dunno how easy it is to warranty/exchange in-store though. But impact sockets rarely break so...

Been waiting for a deal of metric deep impact socket set. Milwaukee means quality, and these are Cr-Mo steel if anyone wonders.

Yeah that's what I figured. Was just curious to see if dude worked on old cars or some other industry where SAE is still prevalent. I'm gonna edit my post a bit, as I meant it jokingly, but clearly I chose my words poorly.
