This scooter has every reason not to buy. Small battery that probably won't last 30 minutes of riding. Low max motor power meaning that it'll be crawling going up any hill. You need 800 watts to get some decent speed on hill. No suspension stacked on top of the honeycomb tire meaning you'll feel every tiniest bump riding in the city.

I just got this delivered yesterday. I weigh about 200 lbs and I got about 7 miles with full throttle during most of my test drive which topped out at 14.99 mph even with the app setting. The charging was kind of weird because after running it to 0% within the app, I later got home and plugged it in but it showed 35% after about 5-10 minutes. I took it immediately back out into my neighborhood and was able to get another 1.5 miles or so before it started getting a little sluggish in speed. I'm not sure if its a safety feature to not drop below a certain voltage or if the battery is not calibrated correctly. But aside from that it seems pretty decent for the price. The vibrations do hurt my hands after about 10-15 minutes of riding so it might be a good idea to get a scooter with a suspension.

I mean it's $108.... But 5.2Ah is the smallest battery I've ever seen in a scooter. Even my cell phone has 5.5Ah nowadays
What cell phone do you have?

5500mAH = 5aH is a standard phone battery nowadays. I did that conversion, just forgot the voltage
Amp hours are a calculation of watts divided by voltage=ah. Your cell phone battery is 3.7v so it is 3.7x5ah=18.5 watts of power. This battery is 36Vx5.2ah=187.2 watts of power. It is 10x the size of your cell phone battery. I would almost never use amp hour as a good battery size unless it's apples to apples.

I got this. The only real issue is suspension. Otherwise, best value for you buck.

if you're over 264 and wanting to buy this, best of luck

That's pretty much every scooter. The technology is just not there for really any scooter to reach the stated max speed or range for anybody but a smaller than average person. The average American male isn't going to get the stated specs on 99% of scooters out there.

You have to pay attention to what is actually for sale on Temu. They will list a product as way cheaper than it should be, however, when you actually click on the link, it's usually an accessory or battery charger that is the price point you see. The scooters are generally way higher priced than what you see on the top level.

if you keep it far from the flame, no, it should not catch fire while charing.
