Bad deal. M2 Mac is slower at 256GB than 512GB (this is fixed in later versions). Spend the extra $100 and get an M4

It's a decent one if you're price constrained buttt if you can extend it a 100 more you will almost a 20% min faster and better device and better hardware extras like external display and longer software support for atleast a little longer and more efficient and capable chip! If you can spend the extra 100 trust me do it you will not regret it and you will thank me later when you heavily use the laptop! And for storage use any external storage thunderbolt 3 and above and get as fast as internal storage which is hot swappable and 16 gig is plenty good for atleast 2-3 years for now (not use about longer future thanks to ai and better on device local models) so yeah get the m4
