Anyone have any insight on this versus this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F32VF...F0aWM&th=1

Other than heatsink vs no heatsink.

ORICO historically hasn't been known for quality or reliability. I'd be glad to be told otherwise.

This drive is made by Micron but is QLC and is rated for very low endurance. The Samsung 990 drives are TLC and have much better endurance. There was a frontpage deal yesterday for the 990 EVO PLUS at $200, same 4tb.

$235: Crucial P310 4TB PCIe Gen4 2280 NVMe M.2 SSD w/ Heatsink

$235 -- NOPE!
$104.98 -- YEP! The heat-sink ain't worth $25+
1TB -- Ain't worth more than $50 per ESPECIALLY FOR "GEN 4" DRIVES! These every single day rinse and repeat GARBAGE deals need to end!

The heatsink is an extra $5 on this deal... Not sure where your numbers are coming from as the deal was for a 4 TB.

I literally copied and pasted the title. Not sure where there was confusion in any of that? Did you mean to ask a different question?

Debating on the posted deal, and the Samsung 990 EVO Plus, or WD Black SN7100 NVMe. All around the same price, but OP one has a heatsink.

Either the WD or the Samsung. This Crucial is a lower end QLC drive. I don't think it's a remotely compelling deal, even with the HS.
