Just FYI, I don't care if you buy them or not:

Magnesium oxide and magnesium glycinate are both forms of magnesium supplements, but they differ significantly in their bioavailability and potential side effects. Magnesium glycinate is generally considered more bioavailable and better absorbed, making it a better choice for addressing magnesium deficiency. Magnesium oxide, while containing a high amount of elemental magnesium, is poorly absorbed and can cause digestive issues.

Magnesium oxide and magnesium glycinate are both forms of magnesium supplements, but they differ significantly in their bioavailability and potential side effects. According to DuckDuckGo ai assistant:

Common side effects of magnesium oxide include stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea, and loss of appetite. In rare cases, it can cause more serious issues like allergic reactions or irregular heartbeat.

I'm new to magnesium, and I'm NOT trying to down play the above side effects…..but they do sound similar to Ozempic. 😂

FYI: research shows magnesium oxide is one of the least absorbable forms of magnesium, often under 15–40% bioavailability. Studies consistently find that magnesium citrate, glycinate, malate, and other organic forms are absorbed far better, sometimes up to 4x more efficiently. If your goal is to actually raise magnesium levels (not just use it as a laxative), citrate or glycinate are usually much better choices. Magnesium Glycinate is the one to get. This type is not absorbed.

i'll stick to eating pumpkin seeds, avocado, nuts, beans, and dark chocolate. almost anything has magnesium in it.

For migraines, my neurologist has me take magnesium oxide, specifically. It's frequently issued as a headache relief supplement. So it's not bad, just has different use cases than the other forms. If you actually need magnesium, find out why and what form is best for your conditions. As a nice side effect, it has also helped a little with my IBS symptoms
