would this count fit the federal credit? thinking of using it as an old fashioned UPS while I figure out my solar needs.

nm. it does and this is also cheaper than the refurbished on eBay..sadly there doesn't seem to be a way to make any of the oupes output 240v to plug into my generator inlet on my braker box but this one will make a great UPS..
How do you figure it qualifies? I thought it had to be 3kwh min. This one is just 2kw.

Nah, over 300$ per kw, pass. Hold the line, prices will drop closer to the end of the year once the credit expires.
I highly doubt this will get any lower than this.
The Chinese tariff will hit. Trump has been delaying the Chinese tariffs.

If I bring this to work and charge it once a week, how long before I make back my $640?

I've been using the Oupes Mega 2 + BAT 2 as power for my mobile business since December and I have recently upgraded to the Oupes Mega 3. So far there's been no issues at all with either unit. I have contacted support a few times for questions and they have been helpful and quick to respond. Hopefully the warranty is honored if I ever do need replacement, but so far so good 😁

my mistake, it does but only if its including the extra battery. I updated my original to avoid confusion.

Would that be for their older model? Since this post is almost 2 years old.

I keep hoping someone will make a budget 240v so I can run my well pump in the least, doesn't look like they even carry a 240v model either.

Using this as a UPS would have been my plan.

It'll qualify as long as the total kWh is at least 3 kWh by the end of the year. Tax exempt is for total purchase of 3 kWh or more by twx season

The actual number you would want to compare are kWh not the kW. And $311/kw ($0.31/W) is already really cheap, around $0.50 was a good price in the last 1-2 years and better known brands are still around that price point.

The weight is strangely low, claims to be 48lbs but a Bluetti equivalent is over 62lbs, suspicious

Yes but there's older models. The exodus and mega are newer models
