It is low quality made with some plastic so it is not super strong so don't expect a great mount, but it does the job initially. Sometimes the gas struts start saggging over time due to the low quality so yours may work fine after a few years or it might start sagging. The majority of people seem to like it so as long as you don't get a defective one out the the box, it will most likely still work fine for at least a couple years. Don't expect it to last 10 years though, as gas struts will sometimes start sagging after a few years even on high end brands, but it obviously happens more often with cheaper brands like this.

I swear these Chinese manufacturers will release a generic product like these swivel, dual arm mounts for monitors then 6 months to a year later, they'll release an offshoot variant that's functionally similar w/ a different brand name just to capitalize on what made the previous product release great. Case in point, I bought a dual arm mount from HUANUO for $40 when it was on sale and it's damn near identical to this Bontec variant w/in the OP...

That's not usually how it works. You have only a few manufacturers who make these things, but anyone can order a few hundred or thousand of them and slap their brand on them that are materially the same but may have a slight difference. So all the cheap brands are all made in the same factories and the expensive ones are made in different factories, but often times the same factories with different brands just like the cheap ones.

Lol pretty crazy how cheap this is. Look up the brand Ergotron that has the same style as this, costs it's an arm and a leg.

Down side is this brand probably doesn't sell pieces individually to customize it in the future if you ever need to. Ergo they do if you want a tiller pole or something for a bigger screen among other things. But once again they charge stupidly alot for those prices.

Don't know about these but found the huanuo to be good and got two singles to get more flexibility in this similar design for 27" dell screens
