I think there's a flaw in refurbished phones when the base model battery wear is always 80%. I recently got a certified pre owned iPhone 13 Pro from Verizon that was claimed to have over 90% battery life and it arrived in 83%. Needless to say that's unacceptable. Anyone who has used an iPhone with around 80% battery health starts seeing issues with the performance and battery life. Thankfully Verizon was able to credit me $89 to have the battery replaced. I don't see anything like this with this warranty, it doesn't mention anything about the battery. And I don't know if these are just preowned or if they have been refurbished, for example, many refurbished iPhones used third-party screens or third-party batteries, and those are significantly worse than Apple original parts
Yes both unlock after 60 days of service.
The 14 is priced at $99 + payment of 3 months of service (~$260 Total)
The 14 plus is priced at $199 + payment of 2 months of mandatory service (~$320 Total).
Both promotions are with porting in a #. The cheapest way to generate a # that they will accept is through Google Voice service, since they hand out the numbers for free they charge a $3 fee to allow their numbers to be ported out. An iPhone that potentially has scratches, dents, and battery health as low as 80% is NOT REFURBISHED. Most people I know would probably call that HEAVILY USED.
It's particularly egregious when considering that a "refurbished" Apple device typically means one in like new condition with a full one year warranty and access to AppleCare.
And as everyone else has pointed out, if you're willing to go through ID verification you can get a brand new iPhone 14 for less from Total Wireless so honestly speaking no one should buy this.
