Not this specific one, I have a BASEUS one and that also gets hot with qi wireless charging. I believe it's unavoidable when using wireless charging.

My solution is to use a short USB cord to charge but use the magsafe to attach the battery pack to the phone. No unnecessary heat, get more charge.

Reminds me of the old zerolemon days. 🙂

do these get hot? because i have the one from costco's ecoflow river 3. and unfortunately it gets so hot it's best to just plug in directly and snap it onto the mag ring and dont use wireless charging.

One reviewer said it got too hot so they contacted the company and got a replacement (upgrade to the newer model). So the answer about heat seems to be "maybe"

The 10,000 one is too bulky.
I like the slim profile and use the as a vacation use where I
Don't have a plug. Last resort, the slim factor is much more appealing

if I have this on the back of my iPhone with magsafe, but plug it in, will it disable the wireless? asking because I like that it can stay attached to my phonecmagnetically while charging wired for better efficiency

I have a few 5k and a few 10k units, (I go a little overboard) and I can tell you from personal experience the 5k units are much more convenient to stay on the back, and still fit in my pocket. The 10k models CAN fit, but gets knocked off and charging stops more often.

Much of the heat comes from interference between the battery and your phone. How hot is it when you remove your case?

How do you do that? If I snap it on to MagSafe and plug it in using a cable does that stop it trying to charge via MagSafe?
