TikTok shop has these with table top wood (63x24) included for $60. Amazon always overpriced vs buying from the Chinese. Just bought two
What's the all in pricing with 150% tariff tacked on.

This is only the leg frame right? Where would I get the table top from?
Get a nice pre-made desk surface, or if you're putting one in a workshop like me just get sheet of plywood and cut it to size.

Yes, this is a one motor frame. Have IKEA near you? otherwise, just look for countertops at home depot, lowes, etc. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/cat/ki...ops-24264/this is the one I use on my non-adjustable desk. it weighs 67lbs though.https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/karl...-50335208/ here's one for $110 from home depot for example. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Hampt.../318686505
any tips how to stain these butcher blocks?

Looking at reviews of identical designs, seems like many complaints are of side to side stability.
I have the Costco desk with the glass top. It has a cross bar at the bottom. You are correct it adds stability plus the glass top is the only way to go. Had it 6 years and still like new.

I ordered/received this one but considering a return because there is a Costway dual motor for $10 more. Thoughts?

Just installed this with an old desktop from a desk that had a really flimsy frame. This is much more solid. Works well.

Not sure but I would just buy dual motor in any case for redundancy and longevity.

We have six TopSky's and not one has had an issue. I put all of them on small casters.

Thanks for the information. I did do some research online and found a good blog. They guy said that the dual motor versions use smaller motors because they need to be small enough to fit into the upper part of the leg. The single motor is mounted visibly under the desk. You can actually see this in the pictures. The conclusion of this one particular blogger was that dual motors are better but only if the quality of the motors are better, otherwise one would be better off with a higher quality single motor. Regarding redundancy, actually dual motor is worse because if one motor stops working the desk will only raise one side and effectively not work. So two points of failure, granted maybe a lower probability of that failure since less stress on each motor. I do see that Topsky is top rated like you said. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: I am returning this desk. I have not used it nor opened the box, so it might be a perfectly fine desk for others that ordered it. I ordered a Costway Frontpage desk from Amazon (same price as Walmart). Here is the link to that desk - https://slickdeals.net/f/18557497-costway-dual-motor-electric-adjustable-standing-desk-frame-black-gray-or-white-69-99-free-shipping?sort=oldest&page=1&p=178774678&comment=success#post178774678

Reasons:

1. Costway is dual motor for only $10 more
2. Known brand name (Costway). The "Roboticious" desk arrived and the box is labeled "Bewatec." Upon research, this company makes hospital beds and has a good reputation for that, but not much of a reputation for desks. The three reviews on Amazon are all paid/Amazon Vine. ChatGPT shows seemingly no good process for warranty claims on the Roboticious since even their website is hard to find.
3. The Roboticious desk is 27 lb. The Costway is 45 lb. The weight difference cannot be dual to the additional motor, so the frame has to be burlier on the Costway.
4. The biggest con is that the listed weight capacity is less (176 lb Costway vs 225 lb Roboticious) but given the uncertainly of the Robotiocous, who knows if that weight capacity is even correct. Either way, I will not be hitting that weight capacity.

I did get the Asurion 3 year extended warranty from Amazon for $8.99. I do agree with you that Topsky would be a better desk if one managed to get the recently expired $110 Frontpage deal and wanted to spend the additional money.
