This is the kind of phone you purchase, activate, and throw in the center console or glove box in case you ever have an emergency. And then you give it to your kid to use at home or in the car or plane for games, movies, reading or whatever.
Or it can be the at-home device for family members to use as a TV remote, control your smart devices, air conditioning and whatever.
So many vast uses for a phone like this.
It's a no-brainer at $40, tax included!
Just my $0.02. To each their own!

Those are hard to run compared with some other systems and performance will vary from game to game.
I can run some fairly demanding GameCube games at full speed at stock resolution on my old LG V30 which has a Snap Dragon SD835, the CPU in this Moto phone phone is about equal to that.
Dimensity 6300 has about equal graphics , slightly more CPU power vs SD835 but the emulators will be less optimized for it. I'd say try some stuff out and see what you get. Sometimes it come down to the way a chip is implemented and optimized in a specific phone model, performance can vary model to model with the same specs on paper enough to be a factor.
I also have a phone with the SD 750g, again about equal on paper to the Dimenity 6300 and that will also run some GameCube stuff just fine and others not great. Who knows.
If anyone is interested, the last option is enticing.
Activate the TracFone plan on the physical SIM. Be sure to sign up for rewards using a referral code. Then once the phone unlocks in 2 months, have Helium transfer your service from your Helium physical SIM to the eSIM in this device (You need to use support in the app for this). You can forward calls from the Helium number to the TracFone number if those 300 min per year are of that great importance to you.
You should have about 6000 points after 2 months in the rewards program, and you can add minutes and service time to the TracFone plan to suit your needs or seat your nudes.

I wonder how many websites you can view with 4mb each day? Hmm.

Countries Where This Phone Would Work
The Moto G XT2513v 5G supports a broad range of cellular bands, making it compatible with many networks across the globe. It is particularly well-suited for use in North America due to its support for key bands used by major carriers in the United States and Canada.
This phone would work in the following countries, based on its supported bands:
United States: The phone supports all major bands for 4G and 5G in the US, including those used by AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their MVNOs. This includes critical bands like 4G LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 14, 17, 29, 30, 66, and 71, and 5G bands n2, n5, n12, n14, n29, n30, n41, n66, n71, and n77.
Canada: The phone's support for bands like 4G LTE bands 4, 7, and 66, and 5G bands n41, n66, n71, and n78 make it highly compatible with Canadian networks.
Mexico: It supports key 4G LTE and 5G bands used in Mexico, such as LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, and 5G band n78.
Europe: With support for common European bands such as 4G LTE bands 1, 3, 7, 20, 28, and 38, and 5G band n78, the phone would function well in many European countries, including but not limited to the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
Australia: The phone is compatible with key Australian networks due to its support for 4G LTE bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 28, and 40, and 5G bands n40 and n78.
Asia: It would be compatible with networks in countries like India, Singapore, Malaysia, and others that use bands such as 4G LTE bands 1, 3, 5, 8, 40, and 41, and 5G bands n41 and n78.
This is not an exhaustive list of all compatible countries, but rather a representation of major regions where the phone's extensive band support would allow it to function properly.
Buy this, activate it, register it (use a referral link to help someone out if you want or yourself if you want to create 2 accounts with 2 email addresses) after 2 months the phone is unlocked.
I Text the word unlock to 611611 to make a note for my reference in the messages when the 2 month clock started.
Anytime you see another deal Buy another one next time the 1200/1500 min/text/data deal occurs.
You can activate them several months down the line I'v gone as far as a year on a few but wouldn't push it.
Lets say you hit 2 months in and you have another phone. verify the first is unlocked.
Login to your TracFone account with your 2+ month old account.
Click Activate up above on the menu bar,
Choose New phone purchased thru TracFone
Choose I want to keep my number
Choose your 2 +Month old phone number.
You'll get a text confirmation number on your unlocked by now old phone
type in the code on the website.
Choose I want to use the physical Sim card
enter the IMEI Serial number MEID of your brand new phone that comes with 1500 minutes
your old unlocked phone will stop working and the new one will begin working but now with the combined balance of minutes texts and data... so roughly 3000 of each and the expiration date has another 12 months added to it. Roughly 22 months if you keep to that timeline.
At any point you can transfer that line and balance to another phone, but it makes sense to do so usually after the phone is unlocked 60 days in. I have some iteration of a TracFone line running as my secondary number on my main phone so in the off chance T-Mobile doesn't have service I can utilize the Verizon (TracFone) network. Same with my family, so no matter what they should have service with either VZW or TMO in case of an emergency. Plus the Satellite stuff exists now, so this is less of a concern.
Pile of phones to mess around with, create your own fake IG followers, use the number for temu aliexpress first time user promos, Facebook/craigslist sales, hardwire the line into your car for a lobuck lojack. The possibilities are numerous.
Referral points on TracFone can get you some deals, but of the Verizon family prepaid family TracFone has the weakest deals. Total wireless is much better. last i checked 16000 points was good enough for a $300 coupon, and I got a few 4packs of airtags and another phone with that.
One or more conditions for applying are not met.
when using the promo, is it once per address or new email should be enough?
