This is a good Motherboard. Even the M.2 and RAM is decent. Personally, I would prefer better RAM timing but most people wont notice.

asus had a bit of a backlash because of rampant QA problems with AM5; for this generation i went with asrock instead. no surprise to me that asus has to liquidate their x870 boards
to what extent the problems have been resolved with bios updates, i don't know.
the google summary says: AM5 asus boards had high SOC voltages that could damage CPUs, boot inconsistencies, memory training problems leading to long boot times, and BIOS freezing. i wouldn't trust an AI summary, but that does mirror what I was reading on enthusiast websites all through AM5 adoption

The high SOC voltage issue affects many manufactures, not just Asus. BIOS update fixes it.
