Triple fault = this is for use on wheels and tires, not just for the rim. I've been using it on my barrels as well and it seems to work ok there too.

Fun fact - at full concentration, this will strip paint and stain! I discovered that bc the bottle had a crack in it and leaked all over from the shelf and stripped paint and stain off wood! That being said, I wouldnt hesitate to use it on my wheels again, just bummed I wasted $30....

Yeah i finally used it last night coincidentally after getting it on the last deal that was posted here.


I was underwhelmed. I hadnt cleaned my wheels in at least 6 months and I had tons of brake dust caked on. It didnt quite work as everyone is hyping it up.

Sooo ... You diluted an RTU (ready to use) product that is intended to be used at full strength to a 20% concentration. And you're complaining it doesn't work miracles on wheels that haven't been washed for 6 months and making conclusions about how good the product is on this basis.
Your post does not come across as very intelligent.
I've used this regularly with great success. For well maintained, regularly washed wheels, 1:1 dilution works great. For neglected tires and wheels, full strength is the only way to go.

there's alot of horror stories being told in this thread, all I did and do is follow the directions and I get stellar results, so I don't know. I guess with everything ymmv, and products can only take you so far, technique always eventually comes into play, as does having reasonable expectations for what something can do.

Those little pop and glow rave bracelets that kids get at birthday parties and stuff will do the exact same. We had one bust on a piece of furniture and it took it down almost perfectly to raw wood. It even removed the stain. It was high end solid wood furniture too. I've often wondered why someone hasn't marketed it as furniture stripper because it would save a lot of time refinishing.

I may be simple, but what's the deal with the "subscribe and save". Do you subscribe and then cancel it after you get your discount? More specifically, is it a pain to cancel the subscription?
