I think this is what I have - or one similar to it. I've helped others a few times thanks to this.

Can't speak for the deal itself but I've used this starter plenty of times. Charges up fine and has given me multiple back-to-back jumpstarts for long trips!

The GB40 doesn't seem strong enough to start a light duty pickup truck as its states that it will. On 5 different attempts I got one restart. I am planning on getting the larger NOCO.

Didn't start my coupe after multiple attempts. I don't think these work well if the battery is really low. I'm told the super capacitor boxes are better. These might work if you get a higher capacity version like 4000 and up.

I have an older version of this that came with larger clamps. Same gb40. It starts a 3.5L V8 Rover np. Multiple times too. As I was doing a compression test lol I was able to test 4 cylinders before I had to charge it to do the rest.

I have bought a few other since. But what I've notice with this brand is their QC isn't that great. If you get one, you need to test it immediately to see if it works. Otherwise you end up with a dud.

Try the boost button, other than that it certainly should have started your car.

Really doubt this is any worse output than the "2500A"+ no name units on amazon.

Noco is great overall, but the GB line is much older and has MicroUSB for charging. GBX is newer with USB-C instead.

The current gb40 has usb c as well. I think the gb45x has faster charging though.

Fast charge as in if needing to charge a phone?

NOCO is a ripoff imo.
The stats are low and they don't even give you a case (same for their $250 unit). I saw a YouTube tear down of one a few years ago and the mechanic was shocked about how shabby it was.

1000A is so 2015.

I bought a GOOLOO with 2500 amps and a tire inflator built-in for $50 - and it has a case. GOOLOO does very well in Project Farm vids
