They can just buy another single 16gb stick of the same brand and model.
It's not entirely risk-free, even if it's the same model number RAM. There are only a handful of actual RAM makers and everyone else puts their sticker on it, but they sometimes change the underlying RAM chips without saying anything. I don't have time to re-explain it but if you don't believe it, google it, and read threads like:

I wish some people would not defend bad or mediocre PC deals. I know 5060 builds are not the same price but just a little bit more gets you so much more longevity (due to Nvidia...3060 came with 12GB VRAM and that was in 2020)! This is a good deal right here and I'm really considering buying it.

Is the consensus still Black Friday being the best time to buy a new gaming PC? I am fine with waiting if there will be much better deals. And for this deal, since it is 16x1 memory, I assume I could just add another 16 stick to this if I want to get to 32?
Nah you right, economy is in a slump

I've never bought a computer form Walmart, only costco where you can stack warranties so just wondering- do you invest in the warranties that walmart offers? Or do you tend to just buy it and take whatever it comes with? this feels like a dumb question but I'm shocked such a good deal is coming out of walmart so I just wanted to ask. thank you!

Don't buy Walmart warranty on desktops. I bought cyberpower PC years ago with 3 year warranty. Had dvd burner that went out on it 2 years later. Called the warranty company to replace the burner. Guess what they wanted me to do. Send in the whole PC so they can replace the DVD. I begged them to just send me the burner but they won't.

That's unfortunate to hear. $99 for 3 years feels like a great deal. Does anyone else have experience with this warranty from Walmart?

If you check the Walmart listed mfg model number (SBI5N5701) at ibuypower website, it shows
750W 80 PLUS Gold PSU as the power supply.

Seems like a good deal. Tempted to buy. I wonder if better deals will be available in September/October (the usual fall computer clearance deals) and in November/December (holidays)?
