750W 80 PLUS Gold PSU as the power supply.
Why ?
The Costco's cpu is 10% faster / newer gen. But the gpu is 50% slower. It also has a better psu (750 vs 600), which will allow for upgrades down the road.
It has less ram and a smaller ssd. However, if you buy an ibuypower pc, you can use a link on their website and get 90 dollars in gift certificates to their online store and buy 32gb 6000mhz cl30 ram and sell off the 16gb ram.
For 100 or so more, you're getting a much much better system.

RAM is sold in sets because even seemingly identical-spec RAM can differ underneath the hood (Hynix vs Samsung, dual rank, etc.). So it's highly recommended not to do this. What you can do though is to buy 2x16GB sticks of RAM all at the same time from the same set and manufacturer. And sell the RAM that comes with this prebuilt, though you probably can't get much for it.For those thinking about gaming on just a single 16GB RAM stick, you can get away with it for now, but it's far from ideal. Not only do you have less throughput, but 16GB is getting pushed to the limits. Even if you are diligent about closing browser windows and whatever else before starting a game, at least one game (Hogwarts) already slightly stutters with 16GB of system RAM, and HardwareUnboxed noted how many games are already brushing up against 16GB: https://youtu.be/mklCPWNyJC0?si=2...XaKN&t=276Edit to add: For those thinking you can always mix RAM of the same model number, there are only a handful of actual RAM makers and everyone else puts their brand name sticker/heatsink on top. But those companies sometimes change the underlying RAM chips without saying anything, or the bins are slightly different. See for example:https://forums.tomshardware.com/t...d.3765930/ (Skip to the last full comment of this thread. It explains the problem better than I can.)This doesn't mean it can't work to add a second RAM stick of the same model, but it's not entirely risk-free.
You can register the computer at ibupower. Post 3 reviews. Screen shot it and turn it back to them. Then you get 90 dollars towards their gift shop. You can then buy 16gb x 2 6000mhz cl 30 ram and sell the 16gb that came with the pc. It comes out as a wash. It isn't hard. I did it last year with their Black Friday deal.
