Seems like a good deal. Tempted to buy. I wonder if better deals will be available in September/October (the usual fall computer clearance deals) and in November/December (holidays)?
Given multiple websites are trying to get rid of GPU inventory (5000 series) with sales, I think super versions are coming out by the end of year. Although it maybe hard to secure super versions at MSRP, but the normal versions will face depreciation.

There's always something better or cheaper 'right around the corner' when it comes to PCs.

Yes, easy enough to add another 16gb stick

What stick would you recommend? Thanks!
you have to put in basically the same stick, if you put in 2 different sticks, even from the same company, it can cause errors

Is the consensus still Black Friday being the best time to buy a new gaming PC? I am fine with waiting if there will be much better deals. And for this deal, since it is 16x1 memory, I assume I could just add another 16 stick to this if I want to get to 32?
most likely. esp after the Supers launch, these basic 5000 series cards will likely be selling for below MSRP, based on past experience.

After research, I canceled this and got the Costco one instead for $950

CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme Gaming Desktop - Intel Core Ultra 5 225F – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 - Windows 11 Home – 32GB RAM – 2TB SSD

For $150 less I'd rather have double the memory and hard drive, 2nd year warranty than the better video card. The processor on the Costco one seems to be better as well.

In comparison to the Costco one, the only thing better with this PC is the Video card. I went with better CPU, Memory, Hard Drive and 2nd year warranty. Mind you this video card is roughly 50-60% 'better' and for more serious gamers that want to run 1440p. The 5060 will run almost all games at 1080p and some at 1440p. I looked at comparison videos and really didn't see much of a difference. With a better CPU on the Costco one hopefully it will pick up some of the workload. I am not a gamer or enthusiast, so don't bash me on the 5060 vs 5070. I know the 5070 is better.
