Depends, if khW rate is $0.45-0.65/khW and your EV efficiency is 2-4miles/khW then $5 can get you 14-44 miles.
Thanks, just got myself a 2023 Nissan Ariya platinum with 7k miles for $9k otd after trading in my 2019 highlander.
You practically bought an use and throw car, giving away a gem and on top of that 9K. Hopefully you won;t get any issues until warranty runs out. All the best.

Considering the current gas prices in Texas (around $2.8), EV charging takes twice the cost of gas for any mid sized EV. I can only imagine how much it would cost to charge a Hummer EV in one of these EVgo chargers.

Is there a way to tell in the APP when these $5 codes expire? I have three from Slick Deals, but not sure when they expire. Want to make sure I use them before they expire.

It comes with 7yr and 100k miles warranty. My highlander with 56k miles has no more warranty. I should be fine for the next 7yrs. I'm also tired of paying $400 a month on gas.in SanDiego.

How many miles can you get for $5?
There is no easy, one size fits all answer to this. That might work for gas mpg, but not electric. During summer time the battery efficiency goes more than doubled while winter time, especially in cold climate in North, it's a nightmare. EV efficiency depends on battery grade for each model, the outside temperature, if you drive on highway or side streets, drive slow or fast, accelerate quickly or gently, if you have turned on eco-mode and regenerate in your vehicle. I can write a whole book on what's wrong with EVs today and how misrepresented and misunderstood they are.

But to try to answer your question, During summertime and if you drive gently (no speeding), and around 20mph, then your vehicle might give you 6-8 miles per kwh. One kw at commercial charging station costs at least 45 cents per kw in my are (even higher at many places where I am.

At approximately 50cents per kw,, you will get about 10 kw at evgo for $5. At 7 miles per kw (maximum good scenario)), you will get 70 miles on 10 kwh or 70 miles for $5.
