Is jack in the box offer dead? It says promo code invalid when i tried to add it. It's on a new account.

Nope, works fine. Bade code or didn't spend the $1. BTW, no account needed for JITB codes. Works fine checking out as a guest online.

what worked here was adding the required $1+ item then adding 'jumbo jack with cheese' from the menu, then at cart paste the code from t-life app into promo field

I don't know whether this advice might help, but I inadvertently added a 'Jumbo Jack' instead of a 'Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger'.
I hope that solves your issue!
