Are you taking in to consideration all the promotions?I did this deal the last time around , and by my calculations it came out just about the same or cheaper than buying the devices at full retail. (They aren't often discounted brand new) Last round they offered a $200 gift card per line , so I got $800 in gift cards , I also did 4 separate orders which netted 4 portal bonuses. I have fios so with discounts the service was coming out to about $150/ month with fees. Finally less than a year in there was a widely publicized request port out on and then you get offered a $20 off / month per line for one year. - $960 150x 36 =5,400 $5400-800 GC-400 CB portal - $960 loyalty $3240 for 4 latest model iPhones, free financing and 3 years of Verizon service. Have to say the service has been terrible compared to T-mobile , data is often unusable around the Boston metro area but that's another story.
so the $200 GC is per line opened and doing it one at a time? if you open all 4 lines at once, you wont get it per line?

They'll find a way to charge you more. Got in a two year agreement on an add on decive and doubled the fee in a couple of months. Can't wait to be out of Verizon.

I switched from Tmo to Verizon roughly 2 years ago when they offered IPhone15 for free with trade in on Verizon's unlimited plus. It was a terrible mistake on my end. Not only was the service awful, it was also more expensive. I initially went to Verizon thinking that they have better service than Tmobile. O boy was I was dead wrong. I am definitely leaving verizon for a long while when my 36 months is over. For those thinking about switching from Tmo to Verizon, don't. FYI, this is north jersey area and there are quite a few dead spots.

It's like Verizon wants its current customers to switch to another competitor.
I did exactly that last week 😂 trying out spectrum mobile, a free year of service and $500 off the new pixel with no trade in. $30 a month after

+1 terrible coverage
+1 for noticeably worse coverage and cell service, switched from tmo last time they had one of these deals. +1000 spicy peppers if I could rate it high enough at the support model. By far they they lead the industry in the worst support one can get for a paid product. I spent over eight months back and forth in what could end up being a Hulu documentary on how horrible and unorganized they are. Do yourself a huge favor and don't even consider it no matter how enriching the deal is because Verizon is by far the worst and will utterly ruin your existence and bill while providing you the worst cellular coverage available. I regret changing every day.

Too many Call drops. Suddenly calls fail. I have to disable cellular data and enable to make it work again

Verizon user of 21 years. Their coverage has absolutely been awful the last 2 - 3 years. I don't know what they did/doing but service around Toledo, OH and surrounding areas is abysmal. From other forums I have gathered they sold towers to their competitors (or their lease ran out and they did not renew).

I wonder how often they update their coverage map? I would call them a liar to their face about adequate coverage in my area based off the last few years' usage.

There are many (thousands) of users complaining in various forums. Before you jump the ship of the provider you're on currently I would ask local verizon users in your area what they think of, and how their coverage has been over the last few years.

When did T Mobile completely overtake and beat Verizon?

I remember Verizon used to be the gold standard in reception and data service. People would pay more just to be on Verizon. Now, it looks like T Mobile beats Verizon in every single metric except maybe rural coverage.

I just moved from TMobile to Visible, Verizon's discount carrier. $19/month with code 6OFF12. Works great and I'm saving a bunch of money.
Was porting the phone number from Tmobile to Visible easy or hard?

Do you count as an existing customer if you're on someone's family plan but not the main account holder?
Their current plan doesn't require you to port in from another carrier so just create a new line. Port your current number with Verizon to another carrier like US Mobile. It cost me $10 for their basic bare minimum plan and after 2-3 days I just reached out to US Mobile's chat, they sent me a link to authenticate and then provided the port out information. Ported it over that new number with no issue.

As I can see from Verizon banner you actually need trade in devices to get 200$ gift card?Im confused
Another question would I need to have post paid T mobile number to get this deal with Verizon, also another 3 lines could be just new number or also have to be ported out?

Pretty painless. Took about 15 minutes after I initiated the port.

I switched from Vzw after 15 years and haven't looked back. The customer service is non existent. What good is a promo when a few months down the line it's not there and you have to call multiple times just to get someone in India that doesn't speak English and doesn't know what they are doing.
