Usually these are closer to 30ยข when buying a 60 pack. This is half that. Great deal.

Absolutely. These batteries nearly destroyed several controllers of mine. I tossed several unopened packs this size due to leakage.

I've gone through a couple 48 packs of these over the years never had one to leak. Now Duracell's are another story.

60 pk (30 AA+30 AAA) of this brand used to go for $10 pre-covid time. These beat the price. Thanks op

ymmv, but I've had a terrible time with these leaking after 2-3 years. Amazon shows I bought this exact pack 3 years ago and I ended up tossing over half of them due to leaking and have none left.

I never believed the leaking batteries comments until I owned these and found out the hard way how worthless these batteries are after a year

Same experience. Duracells leak after a few years, and if they destroy something by leaking, Duracell won't honor their warranty.

The only disposable batteries I've owned that have never leaked (yet) have been the Kirkland alkalines from Costco.

I think the lesson here is, don't buy a 48 pack of batteries unless you will use them up (not just install them, use them up) within a few years.
