Retraction mechanism is not something new, you need to pull from both side ALL THE TIME, 99% people broke it because of pulling from one side only

Bad product, ordered this a few weeks ago and the retraction mechanism got stuck so now I basically have a 2.5' cable with a bulge in the middle.
