... and it is quite sad that so many people think dropping crafted links showing that a store in buttfarknowhere, texas has maybe an inventory of two remaining ... is a feature, not a bug.
This one didn't work for me - but plenty of YMMV ones HAVE worked. So if you don't want YMMV deals, just filter them out either on your deal alert, or on your emails, or just delete and dont' click. not all that hard.
a lot of ymmv deals include some commentary to describe what you might see - this user just sprays these '1 or 2 in stock' deals for specific stores aroumd the country.
they seem to be satisfying some folks - probably the 'what zip code are you located' crowd. some sort of vicarious thing. i don't think they are satisfying much of a need to get bargain tools.
